Sebastian graduated from EAFIT University in Medellin Colombia in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Process Engineering. He currently works in sales for an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer.

Sebastian began playing team handball at the age of 8, where he continued to play through college and national team level participating in several international tournaments. After moving to Houston in 2008 shortly after his graduation, he spent 6 years going to conventional gyms, playing soccer and team handball on occasion. He realized he was missing the competitive drive of playing high level sports, and started doing CrossFit at the end of 2014 and he only wishes he had started when he first moved to Texas.
