The CrossFit Open is an annual, worldwide competition. Every Thursday night for five weeks, CrossFit HQ announces a workout and participants have 96 hours to complete the workout and submit their scores online. Last year over 320,000 people participated around the world so we can expect more as the Open enters its 7th year.

Each workout has Rx and Scaled versions to allow as many people as possible to participate. You can decide which version of the workout to do each week based on the movements and weights. You can view last year’s Open workouts here to get an idea of what you can expect.

To make the Open even greater, we created the Vintage Open. Everyone who registers for the Open is drafted onto one of four teams inside the gym. We get together on Friday evenings to perform the workouts with a judge for every participant. Every week, team members earn points based on participation, performance, outfits, bringing friends, and more! Furthermore, each team plans the theme for the Friday Night Lights party for one week of the Open.

We need judges who are passionate about movement range of motion, counting, and yelling #NoRep. You will need to complete the online Judges Course unless you are a L1 Coach. It costs $20 and takes around 1-2 hours.
